A Journey to
Purify the Soul
Human life is infinitely precious. Let us purify the unconscious together and fully embrace the gifts that life bestows.
A Precious Existence
Dear friends, human life is incredibly valuable, yet we often fall into unconscious suffering due to the impurities within our minds and souls.
The more unconscious we are, the more we encounter pain and anxiety. Practicing meditation is the journey of purifying those impurities so that we can fully enjoy the priceless gifts life offers.
Let us practice stillness with the highest possible quality. May this process help us purify the unconscious. We send gratitude to our bodies, nature, the universe, and the breath—the most sacred gift of this life.
Why Do We Need Meditation?
Deep Awareness
Master Oneness shares his 20-year journey, which began at age 16. Meditation brings profound awareness, helping us understand the subtle nature of life, make conscious decisions without fear, and Awaken to every moment.
Understanding the Laws
A pilot flying a crew from Hanoi to Saigon feels no fear because they understand the operational laws. Passengers are afraid because they do not know. Meditation is the same; when we understand our inner nature, we are no longer swept away by life.
Self-Education
Universities teach English, marketing, and the material world. Meditation teaches us about the essence and the root causes of our existence, unlocking our Innate Wisdom.
Meditation is Learning to Observe Oneself
To learn how to fix a motorcycle, you must observe in a shop for months. Without observation, there is no knowledge. Meditation follows the same process: sitting in stillness, observing, and discovering the roots of all things.
Usually, we run on default habits from childhood without knowing. Meditation helps us adjust our actions so we aren't driven by these old patterns.
TransformingArt
A professional photographer knows how to adjust every setting, while an amateur only clicks by instinct. The difference between an unconscious and a conscious person is similar. The unconscious feel struggle, pain, and anxiety.
The conscious person handles challenges with ease, using TransformingArt to Transcend pain into deep insight. This is not fate; it is about self-education, and meditation is that very process.
The conscious soul transforms pain into profound wisdom.
The Inner Seed
The taste of a fruit comes from the quality of the initial seed. Soil and sunlight only supplement it, but the essence remains in the seed. Similarly, external situations only reflect the karmic fruits from within us.
If we leave a toxic job but haven't purified our interior, we will encounter the same issues at the next place. To make life bloom, we must practice the process of karmic purification.
However, a good seed needs the right environment. An apple tree cannot grow in the tropics; it needs the cold of the Himalayas. A conscious community and the guide serve as the nurturing environment for your inner master.
What kind of seed are you carrying?
What are you truly seeking?
Where do you feel connected?
Breath — The Key to Awakening
Breath is the foundation and the key to expanding our self-awareness. When we can observe the breath, we can observe everything.
In reality, we often fall asleep after just a few breaths. The body has its habits. The goal is to recognize that sleepiness and adjust, rather than acting on animal instinct that only reacts without knowing how to change.
Meditation, even when drowsy, is better than watching TV, but it doesn't grow our awareness. The goal is to Unleash awareness—knowing exactly what is reality and what is illusion.
Stop Adding Wood to the Fire
If you want to extinguish a fire but keep adding wood, it will never go out. Karma is the same. We want peace, but when someone says something triggering, we react with anger—adding more wood to the fire.
Do not react. Respond. Respond with calmness instead of habitual reaction. Meditation helps us shift from reaction to response, allowing us to handle all situations from a broader perspective.
Mastering Reality
"Be present. Stay in this moment. Only by maintaining alertness and mindfulness in the present can we perceive reality."
Not the past. Not the future. Only now. Growing the capacity for focus, awareness, patience, and adaptability is what the meditation process provides.
When the mind accumulates baggage, we feel heavy. When meditation purifies us, we feel light again.
The Lotus Blooms from Mud
When a mother gives birth, she accepts the pain because she wants the child. She is ready for the pain. This is the nature of growth; without pain, there is no expansion.
Over time, we forget this. We meet pain with avoidance, failing to see it as it is. Pain then becomes blocked and accumulates inside.
The lotus blooms from the stench of the mud. For every pain in life, there is an equal opportunity to bloom. What matters is the Innate Wisdom to convert pain into power.
A Dewdrop on a Lotus Leaf
A dewdrop falling on a lotus leaf rolls away, leaving no trace.
This is the image of objectivity. Not being absorbed by pain, not being swept up in others' emotions, but simply observing. Like a dewdrop on a lotus leaf.
We weren't taught this objectivity as children. We became like sponges, absorbing everything, draining our energy until there was nothing left to guide our loved ones.
To practice meditation is to practice non-absorption. Observe sadness instead of absorbing it. Observe pain instead of drowning in it. This allows us to maintain the energy needed for Innate Wisdom.
Emotions as Lines
The Buddha spoke of three states. A line carved in stone is deep and hard to erase—symbolizing long-held pain and a lack of forgiveness. A line in the sand is temporary. A line drawn on water vanishes as soon as it appears.
All emotions affect the body. When we cultivate emotions like a line on water, we are no longer impacted, our energy is preserved, and life becomes much lighter.
What Meditation Is Not
Meditation is not about assumptions, imposing your will on others, or only accepting pleasant moments while avoiding the unpleasant.
If we only like the warm morning sun and hate the scorching afternoon sun, that is selective acceptance—not meditation.
Meditation is being ready to receive everything—both comfort and discomfort—with the same equanimity. The more honest we are with ourselves, the clearer the big picture becomes.
A Conscious Guest
We did not create the Earth; we are merely guests. Be a conscious guest. We did not create this body; it was given to us as a precious gift.
Breath is not created by us; it happens by itself in every moment. We send gratitude to the breath, the body, nature, and the universe.
Shift from being a sponge that absorbs everything to being a dewdrop on a lotus leaf.
Be ready to purify your karma, move from reaction to response, and trust the process. Nature supports you, and the universe always holds you. You are never alone on this journey.
