The habit of eating
Regarding food, people from across the world follow the habits of their ancestors and traditions.
The habit of eating meat is a strong cellular memory; your tongue and mind crave the meat. Many times you eat meat not because you want to be healthy but because of a strong habit in your tongue and body.
Because the habit of eating meat comes from the beginning of human existence. That’s why many people can’t be vegetarians or vegans.
Because there is no such thing as harvesting and cultivating food, primitive humans eat meat. Thousands of years ago, humans’ daily work was nothing but hunting and sharing the hunting food between the communities. The culture of eating meat is wild and brutal.
Once fire entered human life, the humans adopted cooking meat, and later learned to harvest crops, vegetables, and fruits.
Thousands of years later, when spiritual consciousness came into human life, people started to be concerned about the pain of animals and learned to be kind to life around them.
So, some refused to eat meat and only stick to vegetarian food, which we called vegetarianism.
Later, when industrialization became exploitative and cruel to livestock and animals, veganism arose to raise awareness about animal cruelty and to refuse to consume anything that had anything to do with animals.


Vegetarianism and veganism are suitable for people who want to grow in spiritual essence.
According to yogic science, the energy from the food impacts on your mental energy and mood. Vegetarian food is considered a light food when you cook it in a wholesome way.
Meat is a dense food, not a light one. So, meat takes a long time and consumes much energy to digest. When your body is busy digesting, your energy is overused, resulting in an imbalance.
That is why, for spiritual practitioners or for health reasons, people fast, eat less food, but train their digestive systems to extract as much energy as possible.
Eating less food and extracting more energy from it is efficient and sustainable; eating more food and extracting less energy from it will result in an unbalanced body later on, potentially leading to many chronic problems.
Your body’s health depends on a few important things:
- First, The food you eat and how you digest
- Second, The feeling, emotion and your stress. If you have happy and joyful emotions, it’s good for your health, if you are always worried, fearful, insecure, hateful, jealous, that produces toxic chemicals and contributes to your chronic problems.
- Third, Your genes and DNA. You can’t change your genes and DNA, But you can change your eating habits and mental spendings.
Okay let’s come to Animal compassion,
According to spiritual and ethical sense Animals also deserve to live their life in peace.
As a human it’s easy for you to give them compassion and not kill them for your food.
When you are spiritually awakened, your body naturally refuses to eat meat.
Because your body becomes sensitive so don’t allow animal flesh inside.
Compassion, kindness and gratitude are powerful mental energies. Once you become vegetarians or vegan, any kind of vitamin deficiency is not a big deal.
Because when you bring a mental peace for yourself the body can adopt the process.
Become Vegetarian/Vegan:
If you want to be a vegetarian or vegan, just become don’t think much about vitamins, Many yogi, master’s and spiritual practitioners life do not depend on vitamins they need to take, whatever the light vegetarian food available for them it’s enough to live a healthy life and there compassion and love for life what makes them mentally healthy and also physically fit.
When you have tremendous compassion, that’s your superpower.
Sometimes you may have a challenge facing your family members’ eating habits and their influence on you, but remember, where there is a will, there’s a way. Once you become a vegetarian, you will learn how to cook well and nourish well.
- Some people become vegetarian, just because of some health issues,
- Some become vegetarians just because there family traditionally vegetarians
- Some become vegetarians because they don’t like meat smell
- Some become vegetarians because of their compassion for animals.
Above these three categories of people, they may change their minds about eating meat because they are only concerned with themselves, but those who are concerned with animals and their lives will refuse to eat meat under any circumstances, demonstrating the power of compassion.
Animals Vs Plants:
Animals are not things to eat; they are beings just like humans.
They can hear, smell, taste, feel, and see the stimuli in the environment and perceive them. Many animals can do these things even better than we humans, and animals also have the will to live. Animals have intelligence and can socialize; even some animals can remember other faces.
Plants: Plants are also living beings, but they don’t have pain receptors, nerves, or a brain like humans or animals. Yes, plants are sensitive to the environment, and they can respond.
However, once something is clear, if you cut a branch or stem again, the plant reproduces it, whereas if you cut an animal’s body, the animal, like humans, cannot reproduce its body parts.
You can do prop lifting, and grafting with plants, but not with animals. If you cut a fruit or vegetable from the plant, it will produce more fruits and vegetables in a few weeks.
Unlike meat, eating vegetables and fruits is not bloody or stinky. That’s why it’s considered a light food. Whenever you eat food, make sure you have a great friendship and sense of gratitude with food and the plant kingdom.
