Imagine your life as a painting. It is a combination of your perspectives, images, experiences, and feelings towards life.
What color is it?
Is it monochromatic or colorful, bright or gloomy?
Is it filled with your favourite colors?
Though Those colors are mixed, your painting is certainly unique, for we all have our distinctive experiences, opinions, and feelings which can’t be found elsewhere. And no matter what, you are always the one who choose the colors reflecting your perception of the world. Take an example of these two people being in a same situation: while the first one decides to view himself as a victim, painting his life with tears of sorrow, blame, and lamentations, the other ceaselessly looks for opportunities, keeps an optimistic attitude towards life and embellishes challenges with invaluable lessons.
That is life, a blank paper for everyone!
It doesn’t mean that life has nothing, but that life reflects its images and laws objectively. And you are drawing your picture with your own perception!
You retain images of the world after each of your life experiences. When you started forming your perception of life, you left your very first brushstrokes. What you’ve gone through, where you’ve been, and who you’ve met bring memories, experiences and feelings, with which your picture of life becomes more diverse and unique.
The painting of your world is created by only you. And through phases of life, it will change constantly.
Ask yourself this question: are you satisfied with your picture at this moment? If you wish your painting would change at a certain point in the future, start by accepting your past and making that sheet blank once more. Visualize the life you would dream of and focus on the strokes you leave at this moment.
Whatever color, shape, style you want for your picture, you can definitely turn them into reality.
