Spiritual practice means a process of realizing the self. Therefore, there is no need to be confused about what is right or wrong with religion or any master’s Philosophy
It’s essential to realize that spirituality is a unique journey, and there is no need to conform to any particular culture or religion. The path to self-realization is unique for each individual, and what works for one person may not work for another. The key is to remain truthful, disciplined, and determined in your practice, and to be willing to face challenges and dissolve your ego as you progress.
That’s why there are many techniques, methods, and philosophies. All you need to check is how transparent you are, how much you are ready to face reality and dissolve your ego, how truthful you are to yourself, how much self-discipline and determination you have, how much you are brave enough to face any influences or fear, and how much you are able to express your spirit and have straightforward content rather than preaching someone else’s concept or content.
The more self-realization you have, the more original wisdom and content you will have. That’s the measure of growth in spiritual practice.
No matter how deep your cultural or religious roots, how big the master you follow, or what techniques you practice, your integrity won’t improve if your efforts and practices do not contribute to your self-realization.
If anyone says their path is a proven path, that clearly indicates that they are marketing for their path and method. There is nothing wrong with that; they do according to what they know. But remember, spirituality means there is no need to follow anyone or anything; all that needs to happen is self-realization.
Even if you follow a method or a master, it’s still fine as long as it leads you to explore self-realization.
And always remember, don’t compare or impose what you are doing as the best spiritual practice. It’s your perception and mental projection. What you are living is not someone else’s concern or choice.
So take it easy. You came into this world alone, and you’ll leave alone. Whatever experiences you have as a human are exclusively for you. Everyone has their own unique experiences.
Therefore, there is no confusion. What makes you involved is focusing on exploring your self-realization. Completely surrender to that process and explore every happening that comes to you as it is.
