Question:
Dear Master,
I cannot forgive a colleague. I helped them a lot, but they did not treat me well in return. Two years have passed, and I still cannot forget it. What should I do?
Master Oneness answer:
Please practice the following steps to forgive your colleague:
1. Self-reflection: Begin by asking yourself: “When I make mistakes, how do I forgive myself?” The way you treat yourself should reflect how you treat others. If you can forgive yourself, you will find it easier to forgive others.
2. Transform Yourself: Imagine yourself as a seed. This seed sprouts and grows into a tree with many branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits. These branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits represent your relationships. You cannot change the branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits; you can only change the seed. Focus on raising your own vibrational frequency. When you change yourself, the seed, your relationships with those around you will naturally change as well. Conversely, if you only focus on resolving a specific relationship, you may encounter problems with another relationship in the future. This is a never-ending cycle.
3. Raising Your Vibrational Frequency: To elevate your vibrational frequency, you can incorporate these practices:
- Observe as it is: Observe everything as it is without adding your personal opinions, such as “I like this, I don’t like that.” Let go of the labels we’ve previously attached to people, such as “this person is very hot-tempered,” or “that person doesn’t like me.” As soon as you realize you’re judging someone, come back to observing your breath. This is a crucial practice. Whenever you remember, remind yourself that each person is on their own journey, a journey that follows natural laws, and not everyone is an enlightened teacher or a Buddha. Changing this perspective will help us stop having too many expectations of others and make it easier to forgive.
- Practice living 100% fully: Live each moment fully, put your heart and soul into everything you do, whether it’s dancing, singing, taking a walk, or having a conversation. Allow yourself to be fully 100% present, enjoying the joy and happiness in each activity. Remember, forgiveness is not about the other person; it’s about freeing yourself from the burden of anger and resentment. By choosing to forgive, you allow yourself to move forward with peace and love in your heart.
Question
Dear Master,
I feel bored at work and count down the hours until I can go home. How can I find joy in my work?
Master Oneness answer:
To find joy in your work, you need to do the following:
1. Create a Balanced Schedule:
Dedicate specific time for work, family, friends, and most importantly, for yourself. This balance will help you recharge and approach your work with a fresh perspective.
2. Engage in Creative Activities:
Our brains consist of two hemispheres: the right hemisphere is responsible for creativity and art, while the left hemisphere handles logic and thinking. To achieve a fulfilling and productive life and work, we need to balance these two hemispheres. Engage in creative activities, such as painting, dancing, or singing to complement your work. Allow your creativity to flow freely without imitating any specific style or following rigid instructions. This will help you break free from limitations. Practice creative activities for at least 21 days to experience transformation and gain new energy for your current work.
3. Practice Regular Meditation:
Establish a regular meditation routine at one or two fixed times in the day to cleanse and detoxify your mind. Commit to daily practice for at least 21 days to experience a shift in your thinking.
During meditation, avoid seeking solutions to your current problems. Instead, simply become empty, an observer. Recognize that you are not this body, you are not this mind, you are not a woman or a man, you are not an employee or a boss. You are simply breathing. You are consciousness, and as such, you observe your breath and expand your awareness to the universe, and that is when the magic happens. Let things unfold step by step, don’t rush, don’t rush, don’t try to change anything.
Remember, finding joy in work is a journey, not a destination. By applying these practices to your life, you can cultivate a more balanced, fulfilling, and joyful work experience.
