The issue is not the external world, but the “Default Mode Network” inside you.
Science calls it the Default Mode Network (DMN), the part of the brain that constantly operates based on habits, memories, and “automatic behavior patterns” programmed since childhood. It functions like an “automatic anxiety-production machine.”
1. Overcoming the Default Mode Network
Our brain often operates based on old habits and memories, creating the “Default Mode Network,” which is the deep-rooted cause of anxiety and depression.
The way out: Meditation and Breathwork – The Practice of Self-Mastery.
Meditation helps you cease all mental activity, simply observe the natural breath, thereby breaking these loops, increasing self-control, and raising awareness.
2. Distinguishing Ego from Self-Love
Are you confusing the ego’s excessive defensiveness with self-love? The ego is a defense system that causes isolation. In contrast, Self-Love is a state of acceptance, flexibility, and expansion, helping you harmonize with yourself and your environment without being constrained by fear or self-doubt.
Self-love is not about material consumption. Dependence on shopping only creates material stress instead of resolving mental issues.
