Stanford Reid is not only a singer and an instrumentalist, but also a social activist with a mission to bring a sustainable and green lifestyle to our community.
For Stanford, Music is an invaluable gift for him to connect his souls with those around him and spread spiritual strength to everyone. Living with music also means living being free to be himself, free to express himself and bring his true color of music to paint a vivid mark on a canvas of the universe.
Coming to Diviners Fest Virtual 2021, Stanford wishes to contribute his music to the lively flow of the festival, and spread the awakening energy to all.
Stanford Reid is a self- motivated dreamer embarking on a journey to make his dreams a part of his reality and find success in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Stanford began reading music and playing classical piano at the age of six. Throughout his childhood he had a number of musical influences and played alto saxophone among other instruments all of which he taught himself to play.
In 2011, Stanford began producing music under the alias Subliminal Messages. After receiving a placement on the Global Attack Mixtape Series, Stanford relocated to Jersey City, NJ, and soon after began composing songs for the indie alternative rock outfit, Mob Barley.
After the group disbanded, Stanford decided to go solo and released the internet radio hit single, Go To Town, which led to the release of his first EP, S.O.F.T. Be on the lookout for Stanford Reid’s debut full length in 2015!
