Ho Nhat Ha – The artist who traveled 2300 km from Sai Gon to Ha Giang
He possesses an artistic soul and many daring ideas. He has made a distinctive mark by organizing a walking tour across Vietnam from October 18, 2017 to February 8, 2018 with no money but only a guitar as his friend. To pay for the costs incurred during the journey, he used his singing and composing abilities to write songs about the people and society he had seen in just a short period of time. Beside the light luggage he carried on his journey are 3 questions:
- Do Vietnamese people still care for each other, or have they become heartless?
- Can a person pursue his or her dream with just a small amount of money?
- Is our spirit strong enough to help us overcome challenges, and what will we gain at the end of the journey?
And what he received were not just answers but a wide recognition from such newspapers and media channels as VTV3, VTC10, QPVN, VOH, HTV9, VnExpress, Thanh niên, Tuổi trẻ, Dân trí, Kênh 14…
On a regular basis, he holds talk shows that inspire young people from such communities as VCIL, AIESEC VN to make a breakthrough.
Moreover, he organizes walking tours across Vietnam for his own community on his Facebook page as well as giving fund-raising musical performances,…
In addition, he is also the author of the book “Walking across Vietnam with a guitar”, published by Alphabooks, with stories from his journey.
Ho Nhat Ha is a passionate songwriter with a dream of using music to explore himself, sharing and connecting with life and other people. His motto is: “Never stop looking for new adventures.”
